Under the leadership of its Director WU Yaoqiang, a delegation of the Earthquake Administration of the Sechuan Province has visited a number of institutions in Switzerland. GRF Davos has been asked to organize the delegation’s visit to Switzerland. The delegation consisted of:

• PENG Jinchuan, Member of delegation, Senior Engineer of Earthquake Administration of Sichuan Province
• WU Jinsheng, Member of delegation, Senior Engineer of Earthquake Administration of Sichuan Province
• WANG Shaoyu, Professor, Harbin Institute of Technology HIT, Harbin

• Meeting with the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency, Köniz/ Berne
• Official Dinner on invitation by the Swiss Civil Protection Agency (with additional guests from SDC –     Ambassador Toni Frisch, Deputy General Director    SDC, and from PLANAT – Andreas Götz,President)
• Swiss Federal Earthquake Service, ETH Zurich, ZurichInstitute for Earthquake Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering at ETH Zurich
• SIKA Construction Chemicals Company, Zurich
• Meeting with the Director of the Military and Civil Protection Agency of the Canton of Zurich 
• Visit of   the Civil Protection Training Center of the Canton of Zurich, Andelfingen
• Visit of the Civil Protection Training Center of the Canton of Grisons, Chur
• Meeting with Head Natural Hazards and Director of Building Insurance Agency of the Canton of Grisons, Chur

The delegation was deeply impressed by the Swiss system of emergency training and emergency management and by the other visits.
